Overview

Reporting to the head of Infrastructure, responsible for the support and maintenance of the technology infrastructure including Windows environment, virtualized servers, network and miscellaneous administrative duties.

Responsibilities

* Responsible for adherence to all compliance programs, including but not limited to, completion of all required and assigned training modules by established due dates;
* Understand and comply with requirements of all laws and regulations applicable to position;
* Administrative duties including procurement, invoices and Assets;
* Support and maintain technology infrastructure including Windows servers, print servers, DHCP, DNS, Active Directory maintenance, backup and other systems assigned;
* Monitor infrastructure to ensure production availability and support capacity planning;
* Perform troubleshooting to identify issues and resolve;
* Develop root cause reports to support final resolution preventing future occurrences;
* Provide 2nd level support in Windows environment (e.g. Windows, DHCP, DNS, Printers);
* Independently analyze and identify system problems using tools including monitoring, alerting, and system reports;
* Perform other duties as assigned.

Supervisory Responsibilities: This position has no supervisory responsibilities.

Qualifications

* Working knowledge of: VMWare and experience installing and managing Windows Server in a virtualized environment;
* Strong analytical skills for problem-resolution;
* Good verbal and written communication skills;
* Can not only work well within a team but work independently;
* Strong organizational skills;
* Able to work in a faced paced environment with ever changing priorities;
* Ability to multitask and manage multiple projects concurrently. Physical Demands:
* While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; and talk or hear. The employee frequently is required to reach with hands and arms. The employee is occasionally required to stand; walk; and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. Education and/or Experience: At least 3 years' experience in IT and at least 1 year in a network or systems position, certifications preferred (e.g. A+, network + or similar IT certifications).
