Job Description

Overview

We are looking for a Systems Engineer (GCCS-M) to join our team in San Diego, CA. This candidate will support the PMW 150 Maritime C2 Division in the Engineering Management and sustainment of the Global Command and Control System - Maritime (GCCS-M)

Responsibilities

* Develop, review, and coordinate Enterprise Change Requests (ECR) in support of GCCS-M Configuration Management processes
* Develop, review, and coordinate creation of Ship Change Documents (SCD) to support GCCS-M fielding
* Manage development of products to support PEO C4I Application Integration (AI) process for GCCS-M program
* Support Technical Meetings with highly diverse experts within both internal and external GCCS-M stakeholders
* Establish, manage, gather information, and advise the GCCS-M LE on status and progress relevant action items
* Support the GCCS-M LE requirement and priorities to update the PMW 150 GCCS-M portion of the PEO C4I Integrated Master Plan.
* Generate point papers / briefs in support GCCS-M integration with PEO C4I positions or to address specific issues as requested.
* Develop, review and maintain the GCCS-M Tracker (contains the current status of all GCCS-M CASREPs, Installations and Trouble Tickets for all Navy ships and Submarines).
* GCCS-M Tracker maintenance includes but is not limited to: reviewing all CASREP Messages, Daily Status Reports from installers and C4I Help Desk Personnel.




* Attend weekly Installation Schedule Readiness Meeting.


* Edit and review all GCCS-M and C2PC System and Platform SOVTS and route for approval.


* Represent PMW 150 at the weekly PST Sync meeting.


* Lead Bi-weekly SOVT Installation Meetings.


* Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

* An active secret clearance is required to be considered for this role.
* Bachelor's Degree in engineering or a related technical field.
* 5+ years' of GCCS-M operational experience at sea.
* The role requires strong functional skill in using MS PowerPoint to develop presentations capable of communicating complex topics in a readily understood visual format.
* The role requires strong communication and customer skills (both verbal and written).
* The role requires strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a high attention to detail.
* Familiarity with SPAWAR programs and DoD Acquisition.
* Overall familiarity with the use of MS Office products.
* Experience showing ability to work both independently and as an effective team member.
* Flexibility to cope with a dynamic environment and short deadlines.
