The mission of this project is to migrate, consolidate, and modernize disparate applications, application environments, and application development software to the Manpower Amazon Web Services (AWS) GovCloud environment. Establish an Agile enterprise approach to cloud application development. Provide a stable and sustainable cloud native enterprise software development platform that combines intelligent automation and enterprise code development to deliver powerful business applications. Rapidly deploy and easily extend and change applications to meet strategic business needs. Improve customer experience, achieve operational excellence, and streamline our compliance. The end goal is to deliver a Business intelligence (BI) tool that leverages software and services to transform Manpower data into actionable intelligence that informs M&RAs strategic and tactical business decisions.

Position Description:

Supervise, coordinate and/or perform additions and changes to network hardware and operating systems, and attached devices; including investigation, analysis, recommendation, configuration, installation, and testing of new network hardware and software. Provide direct support in the day-to-day operations on network hardware and operating systems including the evaluation of system utilization, monitoring response time and primary support for detection and correction of operational problems. Troubleshoot at the physical level of the network, working with network measurement hardware and software, as well as physical checking and testing of hardware devices at the logical level working with communication protocols. Participate in planning design, technical review and implementation for new network infrastructure hardware and network operating systems for voice and data communication networks. Maintain network infrastructure standards including network communication protocols such as TCP/IP. Provide technical consultation, training and support to IT staff as designated by the government. Diagnose and resolve complex communication problems.

Position Requirements/Qualifications:

Education and Certifications

Bachelors degree with 8 years of experience or associates degree with 12 years of experience in engaging in systems engineering activities.

Knowledge and Experience

Requried - background in systems engineering supporting the US Government, preferably with the DoD/USMC
