Splunk is dramatically expanding globally and we are building an enterprise-class suite of business applications, web applications, identity services, collaboration tools, infrastructure, network, and employee support services for 5,000 Splunkers in over a dozen countries. Splunk's Collaboration Team is seeking a Systems Engineer for Google G Suite and Microsoft Exchange who will design, develop and support the service for use across the business. You will support the technical lead during and after rollout, working closely with people from the community to ensure a smooth deployment and long-term success.

Roles and Responsibilities:

* You will participate in technical design of the environment as well as ongoing architecture changes and maintenance.

* You will define basic standards for domain-wide settings
* You will collaborate with other specialists to build an organizational structure that will allow for maximum automation and scalability
* You will work closely with Splunk's Identity Management Team for account lifecycle and security policy management

Requirements:

* 3+ years of experience engineering and supporting Google G Suite and other SaaS apps
* 3+ years of experience engineering and supporting MS Exchange
* Practical knowledge of security standards for mail, identity management, and related tools
* Strong knowledge of Google Apps Manager (GAM)
* Demonstrated experience in writing and creating user documentation
* Basic scripting knowledge for automation of processes; bash, python, shell etc

Preferred:

* Experience providing technical design and support for rapidly growing companies
* Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Electrical Engineering or a closely related field
* Microsoft Certifications such as Microsoft Certified Solutions Expert (MCSE) or MCSE Productivity Solutions Expert
* Google Cloud certification in G Suite
