Job Description

Description:This position is with the historic Skunk Works in Palmdale, CA. Known for some of the most advanced and groundbreaking aircraft ever produced, we continue to push the bounds of technology today.

The successful candidate will have extensive experience across the spectrum of systems engineering activities. Will generate, decompose, track and verify requirements, perform risk assessments, perform trade studies, write SOWs (statement of work) and supplier specifications, perform technical planning, perform requirements verification and be involved in systems architecture development. The candidate will provide integration and test support and work closely with program management to assure complete program integrity. The ideal candidate is an established leader and veteran in systems engineering, prepared to run portions of the effort and think creatively and individually.

Basic Qualifications:

Experience leading systems engineering activities

Experience with systems engineering processes

Experience in requirements development

Bachelors degree or above in a technical discipline.

Desired Skills:

Experience with risk management

Experience developing a systems architecture

Good communication skills

Experience with Office products

Experience interfacing and presenting to program management and internal/external customers

Experience with proposals, SOWs, BOEs, subcontract management
