Summary and Responsibilities
We invite you to join the Global Information Security (GIS) team at Bank of America as a Systems Engineer. In this role, you will utilize the experience you have gained throughout your career to provide hands-on operational deployment and support for commercial and custom software applications.
While mainly working within Microsoft and Linux environments, you will be an individual contributor responsible for researching, designing, engineering, implementing, and supporting information security technologies. Your primary duties will allow you to use your in-depth technical knowledge to manage and enhance both vendor and internally developed applications. You should be willing to take rotational on-call duties, as this may be required.
As a Systems Engineer, you may have interaction with and visibility to members of the GIS senior leadership team as well as key business unit stakeholders. Additionally, you will have the opportunity to collaborate with a deeply committed team of recognized information security experts on high visibility security initiatives for the Bank.

Required Skills and Experience
* Understanding of Industry Standard protocols related to SSO, Federation Services, API Security (including OAuth and OpenID Connect), LDAP, Multi-Factor Authentication, Web Access Management etc.
* 3+ years' experience working on integration various IAM products like (including but not limited to) Ping Federate, Ping Access, Ping STS, Ping OAuth, CA Siteminder, CA Directory Server, UnboundID, etc. with multiple simple and complex application platforms.
* 5 years working with UNIX and Windows OS, IIS, Apache and iPlanet Webservers.
* Hands on experience with integration, troubleshooting, log analysis, break-fix of above mentioned products and services
* Candidate will support multiple projects requiring effective multi-tasking and time management skills.
* Candidate must have good written and verbal communication skills and be able to work as part of a geographically dispersed team.

* Scripting experience desired as is programming knowledge to understand APIs and assist with prototype development.
