Description:The E&T Manager responsibility is a part-time increase in scope, for functional manager duties in addition to their regular technical duties. As such, only candidates currently in Systems Engineering at MFC- Dallas will be considered.

The selected candidate will be responsible for the management and development of their team, support of department initiatives and directorate undertakings, and driving technical excellence, affordability, and program execution. For the management and development of their team, the E&T manager is responsible for providing technical coaching and mentoring, work assignments, employee career development, continuous ongoing feedback, and being their employees advocate in opportunity discussions.

To support functional initiative and directorate undertakings, the E&T manager is responsible for coordinating employee recruitment, selection and training, performance assessments, salary planning, recognition/disciplinary actions, and engineering competency development.

To drive technical excellence, affordability, and program execution, the E&T manager is responsible for supporting program development, execution of program requirements, adherence to engineering development processes, promoting customer focus, and serving as the technical conscience for their program.

MFCE&T

Basic Qualifications:

* Must posses a Secret Clearance.
* Bachelor's degree or higher in Integration, Test & Verification Systems Engineering, or a related discipline and 12 - 14 years of systems engineering experience supporting technical programs.
* Engineering management or team lead experience.
* Process Improvement and affordability experience.
* Full Life-cycle development experience.
* Must have experience working at MFC Dallas as a Systems Engineer.

Desired Skills:

* Prior engineering management experience.
* Strong interpersonal skills.
* Proposal Development experience; basis of estimate (BOE) development.
* Control account manager (CAM) experience.
* Earned Value Management Experience.
