Leidos is hiring a Systems Engineer/Systems Integrator providing direct support to the Missile Defense Agency (MDA) SAPCO element in Ft Belvoir VA. The successful candidate will be detail-oriented and able to work in a fast paced, dynamic environment with excellent communication skills to collaborate closely with customer and program personnel. This position is located at the MDA headquarters on Ft Belvoir, VA.

Primary Responsibilities

* Evaluate future technology integrations with respect to critical program information (CPI) protection requirements
* Assist in establishing appropriate program protections beyond the collateral security structure
* Assist in development of new special programs
* Help determine security classification of technical issues that arise
* Assist in the development of security classification guides
* Assist in the development of program protection plans
* Assist in the development of sensitive test plans for flight and ground testing
* Assist in responding to Congressional inquiries and senior OSD and Service briefings
* Support Director-level briefing development, integration, and coordination
* Draft technical meeting minutes for Director Program Reviews
* Develop briefings for senior customers, including congressional staffers, OSD, and budget briefings
* Assist in the review and development of annual report
* Collaborate closely with government and contractor personnel in team environment
* Provide technical indoctrinations to new personnel

Basic Qualifications

* BS in a relevant field and 8+ years of experience in systems engineering (requirements development, design, modeling, testing, integration) OR MS and 6+ years of systems engineering experience
* Military or government DoD experience
* DoD Top Secret clearance with the ability to obtain and maintain a TS/SCI

Preferred Qualifications

* Excellent written and oral communication skills
* DoD Acquisition experience and/or previous Missile Defense experience
* Experience with the requirements development, design, modeling, testing, and integration of systems
* Experience working service or agency special programs and/or test activities and wargames
* Current DoD TS/SCI clearance
