Description:As a member of the Skunk Works team, candidate will be involved in the full cycle of a program. Candidate must have strong desire and interest in aircraft and associated weapon systems and ground system operations/avionics, and for hands-on integration work. Successful candidate will be involved in all aspects of systems engineering from architecture and requirements through verification and delivery. Formal educational emphasis or familiarity in the following areas is a plus: mission system architecture; requirement development, and risk and opportunities assessments.
Candidate responsibilities will span the technology development life cycle, including requirements generation, risk and opportunity assessment, system and software design and implementation, and integration and flight test. These responsibilities may also span into other areas, to include ground station development as well as mission systems technologies.
The selected applicant will be a member of a high-performing multi-site team and must be self-motivated with a strong work ethic, time-management, and interpersonal skills. The successful candidate must demonstrate effective communication skills as the position will require frequent internal interactions with project leads and other engineers in the group. The ability to travel on occasion for team interaction and integration and test activities is required.
Additionally, candidates must hold a Security clearance.
Basic Qualifications:
Experience with mission system architecture development
Experience with requirements and verification/validation
Bachelors or above in STEM discipline or equivalent experience.
Final Secret Clearance
Desired Skills:
Experience with risk management
Experience developing a systems architecture for new products
Experience with technical reviews
Good communication skills
Experience with MS Office Software products
Experience interfacing and presenting to program management and internal/external customers
Interim or Final Top Secret Clearance
