Description:Lockheed Martin needs extraordinary people who are passionate about working on cutting-edge design or technology.

Exciting opportunity to work on the Laboratory and Technical Services (L&TS) System Engineering team. The highly innovative Labs & Technical Services organization is responsible for developing and maintaining manned aircraft weapon simulation systems utilized for weapons systems development from concept design through production and delivery. Within L&TS resides an extensive collection of systems integration and test capabilities, including low-cost rapid prototyping concept development systems, full-dome handling qualities simulations, high-fidelity multi-ship, real-time, man-in-the-loop simulation systems, hardware-in-the-loop mission systems and reprogramming integration and test venues.

This is a position for a System Engineer that will be performing system requirements analysis and development, and system design on large reprogramming laboratory systems. Systems that incorporate technology in the fields of Radar, Electronic Warfare, Data Links, and other aircraft and simulation technology. Responsibilities will be focused on ensuring the logical and systematic conversion of lab customer requirements into total systems solutions that acknowledge technical, schedule, and cost constraints. Additional responsibilities may include performing functional analysis, timeline analysis, detail trade studies, and subsystem development technical support.

This position may require unique program security clearances that will be initiated upon selection and acceptance in filling this position. Final approval of these security clearances is dependent upon the Department of Defense (DoD) and could take an extensive amount of time to be granted. During this waiting period, the work assignments directly related to this position will be limited. Therefore, auxiliary organization work assignments will be provided.

Basic Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree from an accredited college in Electrical Engineering, Aeronautical/Aerospace Engineering or related technical degree.

* Experience in development of System Requirements or Design.

Desired Skills:

* Excellent oral and written communication skills.
* Degrees preferred: Electrical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering
* Familiarity with F-35 Mission Systems Architecture and subsystems.
* Experience developing & integrating Radar, Electronic Warfare, or CNI subsystems.
