Job Description

TASC, an Engility company, is seeking an experienced professional to join the Space Systems Account (SSA). SSA provides specialized engineering, analysis and operations support to a variety of Intelligence Community (IC) and Department of Defense (DoD) customers. We support the generation after next of national security-related systems based in space, in the air and on the ground.

SSA has an opening for a senior systems engineer to provide to SETA support for system survivability.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

* Architectural analysis and trades studies
* Requirements definition and functional analysis via mission threads and use cases
* Update Statements of Work (SOW) to support any Engineering Change Proposals (EC Ps)
* Provide technical evaluation of proposal submitted by contractors
* Provide technical oversight and recommendations on the architectural implications of individual and enterprise survivability strategies
* Assist in program and acquisition planning encompassing evolving R&D activities, Campaigns, Roadmaps, and external elements
* Work with various engineering and operational organizational elements to assure mission thread success
* Provide support to acquisition, source selection and programmatic processes
* Provide technical review and assessment of development activities of contractors and government labs
* Develop documents and briefings to communicate work or study status, brief government and industry as required
