Work you'll do

As an Enterprise Ops Senior Consultant in the Technology group you will:

* Designing, implementing, and delivering strategies to increase the efficiency and value delivered by the enterprise IT function, including IT service management, IT business management, enterprise architecture and platforms
* Directing large technology engagements and participating in projects including ideation, identification, and planning through requirements, design, development, testing, implementation and production
* Performing assessments of existing information systems and identifying gaps between business requirements and current system capabilities. Estimating time and resources needed for the development work
* Functioning as integrators between business needs and technology solutions, helping to create technology solutions to meet clients' business needs
* Defining systems strategy, developing system requirements, processing design, prototyping, and testing custom technology solutions, and supporting system implementation
* Creating test cases and performing functional, non-functional, system integration, black-box, white-box, and end-to-end testing of IT processes and workflows
* Creating project charters, schedules, and plans, defining project tasks, allocating resources and monitoring project progress
* Liaising between business functions, end users, and technical delivery teams
* Writing functional and technical system requirements and use cases, creating process flow diagrams and finalizing system requirements
* Identifying and recording key deadlines for the workstream in the client engagement to ensure clear communication, organization, and coordination between multiple parties, and constructing a work plan around them that will quickly and effectively achieve client goals whilst also allowing for reasonable work time and unexpected delays or pivots
* Creating clear, effective, and detailed deliverable content, including written, visual, and oral deliverables. Incident Management, Problem Management, Change Management

Technology Systems Optimization: Our Technology Systems Optimization (TSO) team works with clients to transform their technology delivery by collaborating with CIOs, Technology Executives, and their teams. Together we work to establish IT operating models based on the implications of next generation and advanced technologies, new and evolving service models for technology, and the operational expectations of an organization.

Our team of experienced technologists understand the interwoven nature technology plays in all aspects of today's business environment and focus on helping our clients shift from foundational delivery of technology to being the strategic business partner and catalyst for change. Our Agile/DevOps/Lean technology experts work to transform the workforce of our clients into the next generation of technology service delivery teams.

Qualifications

Required:

* Typically has 3 or more years of consulting and/or industry experience
* Ability to work independently, under general guidance
* Ability to lead project deliverables through to completion
* Experience working in a team environment
* Professional oral and written communication skills
* Relevant software or application skills to complete job successfully
* Problem solving and troubleshooting skills with the ability to exercise mature judgment
* Ability to obtain and maintain the required Secret clearance for this role
* Ability to travel locally to other client sites

Preferred:

* Prior professional services or federal consulting experience
* Bachelor's Degree
