We are looking for a systems development engineer to join the Information Security Organization to build systems to monitor compliance state of 100K+ services/systems, build visualization tools/dashboards, and systems for executing governance workflows.

As a systems development engineer in Amazon.com Information Security Organization you will be building systems that scale to the needs of the entire company to allow system/service owners and leaders to always have an up-to-date compliance state view of thousands of services/systems. The system you build will integrate with several enterprise systems. You will be developing web sites, developing database systems for storing metadata about 100K+ systems/services, and visualization dashboards for multiple personas (engineers, managers, senior leaders, non-technical users). The system will transform the way policies/standards are defined and compliance activities are carried out at scale through automation and machine learning. You will automate workflows that are commonly used by different stakeholders. As Amazon.com teams rapidly adopt AWS, in this role you will have the unique opportunity to build industry-leading closed-loop compliance and governance systems for cloud-based systems.
