Job Description

AWS Security is looking for a passionate and driven individual to join its SysDev team to design and innovate custom solutions in the physical access control system (PACS) space. Candidate will assist in all aspects of design and development resulting in a scalable and repeatable ecosystem for internal customers. As a systems developer, you will be responsible for the overall health and operations of our PACS, continuous product innovation based on direct customer feedback, and iterating on innovations from vendors. Examples include health metrics, monitoring performance, system maintenance, performance enhancements, custom software solutions tailored to business needs and devising iterative innovations for a large distributed environment. You will be looked to as a leader in system and software development knowledge. You will help others learn to program access control hardware and the most optimal way to configure devices and services, save time and cost while optimizing the business through software. Working closely with internal customers to help define requirements and see those requirements through to delivery is essential for success in this role.

This position will require participating in a 24/7 on-call rotation.
