MicroSense a KLA Company is comprised of four primary businesses - wafer geometry metrology systems, magneto-optical Kerr effect (MOKE) tools for state-of-the-art magnetic measurement, precision capacitive sensors and vibrating sample magnetometers MicroSense serves a host of industries including semiconductor manufacturing, data storage, machine tool, solar, automotive and high brightness LED. Responsibilities

Technical system development leader for the MicroSense C200L/C200M Silicon Metrology systems.

* Integrate next generation sensors, wafer handling, system software to achieve C200M performance specifications.
* Develop complex calibration algorithm and setup methods, document and train manufacturing and field support team.
* Lead the development of an offline reprocessing capability that will be offered as a paid tool option.
* Develop extended ranges (thin 300-600um and thick 1200-1500um) to support wafers not supported by tool of record.
* Project leader to complete MicroSense C200L bill of materials and transition to Manufacuring.

Lead C200A Stress Metology system development. Propose and develop improved algorithms to improve edge exclusion, visualization, wafer tracking.

Lead documentation integration with SAP and Enovia systems

Serve as factory systems expert for field team and assist field team to diagnose complex field problems.

Develop improved correlation methods and gravitational sag models to expand thickness range and improve shape accuracy

Target Travel: 10 - 15%

Qualifications

Doctorate (Ph.D, Sc.D) in Semiconductor or related field.

3 - 5 years experience in semiconductor metrology system design

Expert Matlab algorithm devepment skills.

Customer facing experience as technical expert

Demonstrated ability to meet difficult deadlines

Demonstrated expertise in software integration with mixed hardware software platforms

Minimum Qualifications

Doctorate (Academic) with at least 3 years of experience.
