Overview

Perella Weinberg Partners is seeking a Systems/Cloud Engineer to join our Infrastructure team in New York. This is an opportunity to work in a vibrant environment as part of a cutting-edge technology team. The systems/cloud engineering role is designed to provide global technical resources across a vast array of infrastructure products and initiatives. The Systems/Cloud Engineer will be responsible for day-to-day troubleshooting, maintenance, and implementation of new and existing architecture while working in conjunction with the current IT Infrastructure team.

Responsibilities:

* Resolving and tracking all support issues in a timely manner
* Designing and deploying solutions while keeping in line with vendors "best practices"
* Performance monitoring & system tuning
* Creating and updating standard operating procedure documentation
* Troubleshooting and providing incident resolutions while working with team members
* Analyzing data and identifying trends to facilitate root cause analysis

Candidate should possess a strong working knowledge of the following:

* Azure Active Directory
* O365 and email routing
* AWS - Route53, S3, Glacier
* Microsoft Active Directory
* Mimecast
* Veeam
* Microsoft Operating Systems, Server, and Active Directory
* EMC storage
* VMware Horizon architecture and design
* VMware suite including VSAN
* Microsoft PowerShell scripting
* Management and Performance monitoring tools such as Solarwinds and VRealize
* Python experience is a plus

Desired Skills and Background:

* 12+ years IT experience, preferably in financial services
* Thrives and enjoys working in a fast-paced environment
* Works well independently but part of a team
* Strong verbal and written communication skills
* Flexibility for after-hours and weekend support, as well as travel if necessary
* Attention to detail
