Overview

We are looking for a strong Industrial Internet of Things (IOT) Product Lead to help architect and manage our IIOT line of products.

Responsibilities

* Research, develop, document and lead implementation of world class IIOT infrastructure. This includes creating concepts to demonstrate to product teams and upper management.
* Provide technical leadership in problem solving, AWS Cloud and Greengrass gateway based IIOT solutions.
* Help ideate, implement and enhance AWS IOT based cloud solutions as described by market research.
* Define the technical direction for development solutions
* Capable of managing projects by developing schedules and documentation.
* Must be capable of evaluating software vendors for cost efficiency and reliability.
* Define test criteria and assist with the creation of test plans.
* Work closely with the Product Marketing to create meaningful features from product backlogs, and generate feature release plans, scope, and roadmaps to support product manager's priorities.
* Work closely with product marketing to manage the product backlog and maintain focus on MVP.
* Be an expert in Scrum and act as the Scrum Master and resident Scrum expert for the team

Qualifications

* BS in electrical, computer engineering or computer science is required, MS is preferred.
* Proven skills in native cloud development and implementation
* 7+ years of software development experience in one or more modern languages, 3+ years in a hands-on lead or architect role
* 4+ years project experience deploying cloud based solutions (AWS).
* Demonstrable experience in bringing enterprise grade software products to market
* Working knowledge of infrastructure automation (CloudFormation or similar) and CI/CD tools (Jenkins or similar)
* 6 years of experience in Agile Software development as a Project, Product or Program Manager
* Experience in Building Management Systems (BMS), preferably ISA 95 and ISA 99 Industrial Edge Architecture
* Experience implementing IIoT backend systems
* Proven skills designing and implementing modern data architectures
* Able to serve as a liaison between both business and technical teams to drive effective, timely solutions that fulfill both strategic and operational needs
* Skilled at defining and documenting business and functional requirements for new system enhancement initiatives in iterative software development environments
* Strong investigative, analytical and interpersonal communication skills, with the ability to work independently or as part of a team
* Experience leading all Agile ceremonies including: sprint planning, review, demo, and stand-up sessions
* Deep product knowledge and understanding of product features including:
* AWS IOT, IOT Analytics, S3, Kinesis, Quicksight, Lamdba, DynamoDb, Redshift
* Greengrass, AWS FreeRTOS, OTA
* MQTT, COAP, MODBUS, OPC
* iOS and/or Android
* Experience with Single-sign-on (SSO) solutions including SAML and OAuth authentication options
* Certifications:
* AWS: Certified Solutions Architect
