Overview

The Cadmus Group is seeking a Windows Systems Administrator with experience managing Windows in a hybrid O365 and Azure cloud environment to support our growing infrastructure services team.The Windows Systems Administrator is responsible for supporting the administration of the virtualized Windows based server environment. The candidate will be responsible for maintaining the operations, maintenance, and support for all production, pre-production, test, development, and disaster recovery servers.

Responsibilities

Responsibilities include but are not limited to managing the appropriate configuration baseline of operating systems, software applications, and security compliance, working with monitoring tools, assess and interprets the logical and physical requirements of systems and applications in relation to hardware, software and operational needs, implementing efficiencies through automation, e.g., able to leverage scripting through PowerShell, Power CLI, VBScript, and batch to automate processes, and investigates new technology and provide recommendations on system improvements and life cycle planning.

Qualifications

Required Experience:

* Office 365 and Windows network environment (DNS, DHCP, etc.)
* Server Virtualization: 3 years (Required)
* System Administration: 3 years (Required)
* Cloud Administration (AWS, Azure, etc.): 1 years (Preferred)
* Windows Operating Environment: 4 years (Required)
* Scripting (PowerShell): 2 years (Required)

Desired Qualifications

* BS Computer Science/related degree, or equivalent experience
* 5-8 years of overall experience
* Minimum of 3 years in Windows Systems Administrative role.
* Demonstrated experience managing Windows based servers running in a virtualized environment, and an understanding of networking principles
* Demonstrated experience performing basic Server virtualization tasks, applying security and standard configurations during the deployment of servers.
* Demonstrated experience supporting Windows Server2012 R2 and 2016.
* Demonstrated experience utilizing Microsoft and/or other patch management tools
* Demonstrated Experience working with Active Directory Domain Services
* Demonstrated experience managing serves hosted in an AWS and/or Azure
* Knowledge and experience with AV conference room solutions( BiAMP, Polycom and yealink) is plus
