Job Description

ActioNet has an immediate opportunity for a Systems Administrator I requiring a Standard Background Check located in Vienna, VA. ActioNet is an IT service provider and solutions integrator headquartered in Vienna, VA that works with the Federal Government and Department of Defense. In this role, you will be responsible for performing system/application ownership and network troubleshooting of corporate hyperconverged infrastructure as well as involvement with cloud-based solution projects and initiatives. The candidate will also responsible with performing Tier II+ tasks and service desk support.

As the System Administrator I you will provide technical support and expertise in the maintenance and improvement of corporate IT infrastructure and applications.

Duties and Responsibilities

* Provide Tier II+ tasks and technical support including desktop and VOIP trouble shooting
* Image, deploy and clear corporate laptop fleet including mobile phone systems
* Corporate asset management, change management, continuity and availability management
* Deploy and maintain Windows Servers 2016, 2019
* Maintain VMWare environments, assist with Hyper-V migrations
* Manage Azure and Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, Group Policy
* Manage Office 365 environments and licensing
* Maintain and troubleshoot routers, switches, SANs and servers including two Cisco/NetApp hyperconverged infrastructure centers
* Perform and maintain server backups and provide daily and monthly reports on system health
* Install routine patches and updates
* Application troubleshooting where needed
* Research, testing and providing insight and feedback on technology solutions to improve corporate governance and security
* Assist in maintaining corporate ISO 20K, 27K and CMMI-3 SVC certifications
* May include travel to other corporate offices in the DMV (as needed)
* May include lifting of objects in excess of 50lbs

Basic Qualifications:

* 1-3+ years of networking and or systems administration experience
* 1-3+ years managing an enterprise Windows environment
* 1-3+ years managing Active Directory
* 1-3+ years experience Tier II technical support
* Must be a U.S. citizen

Preferred Qualifications:

* Knowledge of Windows 10, Office 365 and Teams
* Knowledge of Cisco networking and datacenter gear
* Knowledge of NetApp storage and administration
* Knowledge of SharePoint administration and configuration (2010+ and or Online)
* Knowledge of Powershell and or SQL
* Knowledge of VMWare and or Hyper-V
* Net+ certified
* Sec+ certified
* ITILv3/4
* MCP
