Altamira is currently looking for System Administrators to join our Team to support new opportunities in Fort Belvoir, VA. The System Administrator supports the enterprise computing infrastructure. They design, configure, install, maintain and support the full computer system landscape for all applications that are internally hosted. Includes the development, test, QA, and production environments, preventive maintenance, IAVA patch management, STIG compliance, software installation, computer files maintenance, and backup and recovery functions. The System Administrator supports establishing system specifications and collaborates with engineering teams to develop systems.

At the entry level, a qualified candidate will have a bachelor's degree or 6 years' experience. More experience or education credentials will qualify for higher starting levels.

As a System Administrator, the employee must have experience:

* Experienced maintaining and supporting computer, monitoring and managing system resources
* Performing security administration functions such as user profile and account access management.
* Skilled in maintaining system documentation
* Optimizing system performance, and installing software
* Perform systems engineering tasks, monitoring, optimizing systems, and measuring system performance

Required Certification:

DoD 8570 IAT Level II

US Citizen, with active TS security clearance and SCI eligibility
