At Grant Thornton, our professional staff applies traditional, cutting-edge approaches and methods to a variety of analyses. As part of our team, the Manager will utilize various methodologies and models to execute client projects.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES:

Develop test strategy and plan for the implementation of a new property tax system. Lead execution of test strategy and plan, work with the client to understand the nature of their business to facilitate development of test materials.

Develop use cases, develop test scenarios, develop test scripts and expected outcomes.

Identify logistics necessary to be addressed in order to facilitate testing, train and prepare client personnel for the testing process, conduct root cause analysis into issues identified in testing, oversee defect resolution process.

Conduct an initial assessment of the work required to for the testing workstream and determine if additional consultant resources are required.

Potentially supervise one other team member.

Work with other project teams to coordinate on related/dependent tasks.

Develop and deliver weekly status reports. Manage workstream budget.

Perform engagement management responsibilities, including performance reviews, task delegation, project scheduling, project financials, quality review and client management.

Meet or exceed sales targets for new and follow-on work.

Manage business development activities, such as proposals, capture, account teams, whitepapers, conferences, and/or other thought leadership materials.

Meet or exceed targeted billing hours (utilization).

Act as performance manager (coach) for up to four coachees outside of engagement responsibilities.

Interview campus and/or experienced candidates.

7 overall years of relevant professional business experience

Business Analysis and Testing Management skills

Bachelor's Degree required from an accredited college or university in a related field.

Ability to obtain and maintain certain job-related certifications if no job-related advanced degrees.

U.S. citizenship may be required. Ability to work in the United States indefinitely required.

Travel may be required.

Coach and mentor junior staff members.

Ability to work overtime required on occasion.

Ability to sit in an office environment for long periods of time.

Ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance.

Ability to communicate clearly in writing and verbally.

Ability to obtain and maintain firm independence and abide by firm ethics requirements.

Meet or exceed continuing professional education (CPE) requirements.
