System Test & Debug Engineer Job Description

The Client Computing Group (CCG) Surface Co-Engineering team is looking for highly qualified System Test & Debug Engineer to be a part of a team that enables Surface products. The role of the System Test & Debug Engineer includes:

Some of the job responsibilities include, but not limited to:

* Black box Platform validation using on Surface in development products with Surface's LKG, executing both manual and automated test cases.
* Bug replication/ Triaging of issues found during validation.
* Compiles data and defines changes required in testing procedures and/or new testing requirements in working with the Surface validation team.
* Work closely with the Surface's validation engineering and software leads.
* Manages the lab and lab test environment.

* Ability to build strong relationships with internal and external teams.

Qualifications

You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position.

Minimum Requirements:

* Must have a High College's degree with 4+ years of experience, or Technical Certification with 3+ years of experience in testing product software and/or firmware or related field.
* 4+ years of experience with:

Surface's software stack (LKG).

Preferred Qualifications:

* Test experience with Intel based platforms.
