Job Title: -- System Center Configuration Manager Administrator

Job Summary: -- The System Center Configuration Manager (SCCM) Administrator is responsible for supporting the maintenance of EMCOR's System Center Configuration Manager environment, reporting on monitored devices, deploying new hardware and software updates, and deploying packages.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities: --

* Work with operating companies and other Corporate team members to bring workstations and servers into the SCCM environment
* Support organizations with the initial deployment of the SCCM client to endpoints, client updates and the on-going SCCM maintenance; Assist in the deployment of SCCM to new operating companies.
* Manage Boundaries and Boundary Groups within SCCM according to WAN capacities; Work with the Network Operations team to get new network information; Assign or relocate Distribution Points as the EMCOR WAN evolves
* Work with operating companies to install software to support new Distribution Points
* Work with operating companies to create local Active Directory groups to deploy software
* Build organizational collections within SCCM and assign permission scopes
* Create, test, and maintain client images, driver packages, and task sequences
* Build and deploy standard application packages for deployment
* Deploy software, patches, and updates for servers and clients
* Monitor patch releases and develop patch installation strategies for servers and clients
* As feature updates are released, update the Windows deployment packages for new operating system installs
* Monitor the status and health of the SCCM servers within the environment; Monitor the Azure cloud update environment for spend and uptime
* Work with operating companies to develop and manage organizational software update programs
* Develop and maintain installation and configuration procedures
* Develop, provide, and distribute reporting
* Develop training plan to support new and existing console operators
* Train operating companies to monitor upgrade analytics data and remediate any incompatible hardware/software
* Integrate SCCM with Intune and support the co-managed environment
* Act as the primary point of contact for all issues related to SCCM
* Provide a point of escalation and support to the operating company IT teams
* Provide Tier 1 and Tier 2 problem identification, diagnosis, and resolution; provide support for the escalation and communication of status to management and users
* Occasional off-hours support is required

Qualifications: --

* Associates degree and 3-5 years' experience is preferred
* Three years minimum experience in information technology, specifically server infrastructure
* Three years minimum experience working with System Center Configuration Manager; one-year minimum experience managing System Center Configuration Manager
* System Center Configuration Manager certification preferable
* Ability to effectively communicate and interact with personnel at all levels
* Strong project management skills
* Must be capable of delivering a very high level of customer service
* Proficient with Microsoft operating systems and Microsoft Office 365
* Experience with SCCM patch management, inventory management, operating system deployment
* Experience with a co-managed environment with SCCM, Intune and Cloud Management Gateway
* Experience with scripting languages to automate tasks (i.e., PowerShell, VBScript, Batch Files)
* Must be a self-starter, able to work independently or as part of a team
* Ability to manage assigned tasks and clearly communicate status information
* Good customer service skills, including end-user support
* Good written and oral communication skills
