Job Description

Job Summary

Responsible for scripting, advanced report writing, report validation, and operational activities relating to the monitoring of updates to the decision support database. Develops and maintains advanced skills to maximize the use of the Dimensional Insight Diver suite of products. Works with Hospital leadership and operational staff to understand and document business requirements of dashboards and standard reports. Leads projects to implement new data models which expand the scope of decision support data available to users. Assists in documenting data sources of the available data. Acts as a lead resource for training and coaching of users and other Decision Support staff. Must have strong team and customer service skills.

Licensure and Certification:

* N/A

Education:

* BA/BS in Information Technology, Health Administration or business-related field with emphasis on analytics is required. (Equivalent experience may be substituted for education)
* Successful completion of Introductory and Advanced Dimensional Insight training related to data extract and integration; model design and build; Diveline operations

Experience:

* Minimum five (5) years' experience involving data analysis presentation and dashboards.
* Prior experience working in a hospital or other clinical setting required
* Experience working with relational/hierarchical object databases desired
* Highly experienced in writing scripts, working with SQL, other DB structures and file transfers
* Exceptional ability to learn and maximize use of application tools, sets and reports writers
* Advanced PC skills required
* Working knowledge of project management principles required
* Prior experience leading complex projects desired
* Knowledge with operational data analysis and key performance indicators
* Education of customers in system concepts and operation
* Successfully demonstrates advanced proficiency in use of the complete suite of Diver products

* Work with minimal supervision
