Overview

The Systems Analyst supports the everyday maintenance and development of SLC systems within the Business Strategy department. These systems support property management, accounting, sales & marketing, budgeting, and data management functions. The Systems Analyst will primarily perform general administration, support, and training on one or two systems while identifying areas for enhancement to streamline the business processes supported by each system. Systems Analysts will receive on-the-job training for the technology and business processes they will be supporting.

Essential Functions

* Provide end user support and ad hoc training to all system application users.
* Create documentation related to system design and administrative support.
* Deploy path updates and enhancements to all cloud-based and on-premise systems.
* Develop ad hoc queries and scripts to support analytical teams.
* Create enhancements to current systems based on user feedback.
* Consult with users to determine system functional specifications and needs.
* Design, develop, document, analyze, create, test, and/or modify systems and/or databases based on and related to use and/or specifications.
* Perform other tasks as assigned.

Qualifications

Level of Formal Education: Preferred: Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university

Years of Experience: Entry level (0-3) years of experience

Type of Experience: College, personal, or prior workplace technology experience

Technical Competencies: Helpful but not required: Python, R, SQL, C#, Batch, Scripting, Visual Basic, SSRS

Skills and Ability:

* Data validation
* Coding
* Customer service
* UX
* UI

Information Systems: Helpful but not required: MS Dynamics 365, Oracle PBCS, Oracle Hyperion, Yardi Voyager

Personal Attributes: Curiosity, desire to learn

Other/Preferred:

* Technical competencies and information system experience preferred; not all components necessary.
