Job Description

TIAG is currently hiring a System Administrator to join our team in Fort Belvoir, VA supporting the Regional Health Command-Atlantic. This position requires that the candidate have an active Public Trust clearance.

Responsibilities include:

* Manage and provide onsite Tier 3 computer deployment coordination and support to military hospitals within the region.
* Provide subject matter expertise and resources to install, maintain, configure and optimize PC and Server/Network Operating Systems, to include Microsoft, Linux and VMWare server operating systems.
* Organizes and directs the configuration and operation of information management systems
* Provides the day-to-day system administration to include system and resource optimization, and user assistance
* Conducts capacity and performance analysis, and provides system configuration change and upgrade recommendations
* Increases system administrator efficiency and accuracy via the use of automated tools and scripts, develops system administrator procedures, and conducts system administrator training and skills assessment
* Determines computer user needs; analyzes system capabilities and programming techniques and controls
* Maintain support, configure, and develop for the server 2012R2 environments.

Required Experience:

* Must have 3+ years experience installing, configuring and managing virtual environments leveraging Virtual Machine (VM)ware and Storage Area Network (SAN) in a large enterprise environment.
* At least 3 years experience in deploying and managing Dynamic Host Configuration Protocol (DHCP), Domain Name System (DNS) and Lightweight Directory Access Protocol (LDAP) for a large enterprise environment (5000+ user) environment.
* 3-5 years of system engineering and administration support experience in a large enterprise (5000+ user) environment.
* Security+ certification required to be considered
* Knowledge with DoD audit readiness requirements and Risk Management Framework (RMF).


* Experience with Microsoft Office Suite programs such as Word, Excel, Access, Project Management, Power Point and Visio.


* Experience in patch management using Microsoft SCCM, Tanium, and GovLan. Other patch management such as Local Area Network (LAN)Desk or Kace skill set can be a substitute.


* Must have experience managing Online Certificate Status Protocol (OCSP) responder and DoD-PKI technology.


* Prior experience supporting Microsoft Windows servers 2008R2/2012/2016 or current version.


* Thorough knowledge of Group Policy creation, migration and permissions management, security settings enforcement.
