Job Description

Reporting to the Manager, SCADA IT, the successful candidate will be responsible for managing the systems used in the remote operation of Hydro assets across the USA. The System Administrator will be responsible for ensuring that systems within the Control Room and the Regions are run efficiently and effectively. They will be responsible to maintain Compliance with applicable NERC CIP requirements by monitoring system updates and patching appropriate equipment.

Responsibilities:

* Support the System Control and Regions in deploying, configuring and managing the systems.
* Support, maintain, develop SCCM Current Branch version.
* Deployment of Windows Updates, third party software updates, consist of creating Windows updates group, Windows Update packages, deployment schedule and coordination of deployment.
* Packaging Applications for SCCM deployment, consist of scripting installation and uninstallation of software used on SCADA network.
* Deployment of Windows 10.
* Active Directory (AD) maintenance, configuration and support, consist of changing/creating Group Policy, Users, Groups, Service accounts.
* Maintenance, support of VMWare environment; consist of CISCO Unified computing system (UCS) and NetApp.

Requirements

* Strong time management skills with the ability to organize, plan, prioritize and manage multiple tasks and projects.
* Effective oral and written communication skills in English.
* Strong base of networking knowledge.
* Experience with MS Office Suite, including MS Word, MS Excel and MS Outlook.
* Works well in a fast-paced dynamic environment.
* Must be a strong Team Player.
* Knowledge in Unified Computing Systems (UCS).
* Experience with working as a System Administrator.

Qualifications

* Bachelor's degree / Technologist in Electrical Engineering, Controls Systems, Computer Science or a related field. Equivalent experience or training will be considered.
* Minimum two (5) years of relevant experience.
* Experience with SCCM.
* Experience with Windows updates deployment using SCCM.
* Experience with at least one scripting language (Batch, VBScript or PowerShell).
* Experience with Windows 10 deployment.
* Experience with AD Group Policy deployment.
* Experience supporting VMware, creating Templates, Servers, Workstations.
