The Corporate IS Department is seeking a dynamic and talented System Administrator II-Facility Readiness-BHIS.

Provides technical direction in support of software and hardware for new facility implementations and application go-lives. Conducts onsite visits to determine readiness for successful go live and makes recommendations where required. Provides hands on support as needed for implementations to ensure success and to effectively accomplish desired objectives.

Provides technical project management support for Facility Readiness projects. Conducts meetings, follows up with UHS staff and vendors on progress toward completion, documenting and communicating project status.

Key Responsibilities include:

* Supports software applications and hardware implementations to ensure high availability and performance.
* Researches, plans and assists with implementations at UHS Behavioral Health facilities across the U.S.
* Provides onsite assessments, researches vendors, and provides recommendations and proposals to facility and corporate level staff.
* Supports new facility implementations, providing onsite assistance as needed up until go live.
* Provides project management functions in support of team initiatives.
* Provides remote support between projects.
* Monitors the resolution of maintenance or enhancement issues assigned by the UHS Customer Support Center.

Job Requirements

Position Requirements:

* 3+ years' experience in a support role preferably working on software, hardware or facility implementation projects.
* Strong organizational skills with an ability to prioritize and meet deadlines.
* Able to think and operate independently within the framework and guidelines of the BH Division IS department.
* Able to communicate effectively with all levels including vendors, corporate and facility personnel.
* Able to manage projects, run project meetings and manage project communication. Must be able to coordinate efforts of multiple team members from disparate teams.
* Able to adapt to changing priorities, adjusting focus as needed to meet pressing demands.
* Excellent oral and written communication skills, as well as ability to present and explain technical information in a way that establishes rapport, persuades others and gains understanding.
* Must have a working knowledge of both business and clinical functions and be able to offer technical solutions that meets the needs of both groups.
* Able to travel extensively in support of ongoing projects but comfortable with working in the corporate office supporting internal operations depending on project workload.

Travel Requirements: 50-75% domestic US travel (depending on project load).
