Job Title: System Administrator 1

Work Location: Washington DC

Clearance: Current Top Secret+

Please note that you must be a US citizen to apply to this position

Education: BS/BA, 1 3 years of experience

Experience: 5 years of relevant experience (or a combination of education, training, and experience)

Certifications: Security+CE and Windows 10 or higher, ITILv3 Foundations required (or must be able to obtain within 90 days of hire)

Schedule: Monday Friday, occasional on-call as required

Travel: Occasional

Salary: Commensurate with experience

Position Description/ Summary:

* Support Request Fulfillment by supporting the installation of standard requests, both on-site and remotely
* Ability to conduct quality customer follow-up on open Incidents and Service Requests
* Perform software installations and upgrades
* Schedules installations and upgrades and maintains them in accordance with established IT policies and procedures
* Develops and promotes standard operating procedures
* Ensure proper security practices are in accordance with established IT policies and procedures
* Ability to show initiative and act independently to resolve problems, manage multiple priorities and follow through on projects/tasks to completion
* Additional duties as assigned

Minimum Qualifications:

* BS/BA; and 1 - 3 years of experience, or 5 years of relevant professional experience (or a combination of education, training, and experience)
* Security +CE and Windows 10 Certification or higher, ITIL v3 Foundations (or must be able to obtain within 90 days of hire)
* Current active Top Secret+ DoD security clearance
* Must have operational hardware experience with multi-vendor laptops and workstations, HP Printers, and common workstation peripherals
* Previous experience supporting a Government and/or Department of Defense customer
* Willingness to commit to maintaining the highest standard of customer service with outstanding written and oral communication
