Description:Lockheed Martin's Laser Systems and Sensors Business is seeking an Integration and Test Engineer to join our team. The successful candidate will work with and lead teams in the Integration and Test of innovative laser based systems that are field deployable in military and commercial environments. Responsibilities of the position include:

* Analyzes complex laser weapon systems to establish testing methodologies, identifies functional test elements, develops integration test plans and roadmaps, aligns plans with requirements, and coordinates dependencies/priorities with development teams.
* Leads multidiscipline team of engineers, technicians, suppliers, etc in the execution of challenging system integration activities - solves hardware/software interface issues, works through test setup constraints, continuously evolves plans for success, troubleshoots technical issues with appropriate SMEs, leads root cause corrective action teams, ensures accuracy of all data collection activities, analyzes test data and evaluates against requirements, and ensures safety of all employees per site policies.
* Identifies required test equipment and facility needs/dependencies for the execution of integration plans. As necessary, supports facility upgrades and the development of test equipment for first of class weapon systems.
* Applies lessons learned and shares knowledge from past integration and test experiences to drive continuous improvements into new system designs and products - writes discrepancy reports to accurately describe and capture issues during integration and test, supports peer and design reviews of new products, briefs internal and external customers on system operation and performance.
* Performs long range planning of site specific needs with respect to capital, expenses, equipment, facilities, etc to ensure the viability of near and long term integration and test capabilities.
* Leads the development of white papers, proposals, and presentations
* Performs Earned Value Management of assigned control accounts containing integration and test scope. Additionally, develops and tracks system level metrics for responsible program work scope in conjunction with required EVMS reporting.
* Develops the next generation of Lockheed Martin integration and test talent by demonstrating full spectrum leadership qualities, mentoring all levels of engineers, and creating and maintaining an inclusive team.
* Supports and collaborates with manufacturing functions to develop and outline plans, procedures, processes, etc to transition developmental technology to production ready systems.

The Locale: Bothell is a city located in the state of Washington in the Pacific Northwest. It is part of the Seattle metropolitan area. Bothell is home to Cascadia Community College and the University of Washington, Bothell.

Basic Qualifications:

* Minimum 14 years of I&T experience testing large and complex systems for defense applications
* 5 - 7 years of experience in developing test methodologies, test plans & procedures, and test equipment.
* Strong leadership experience demonstrating the ability to work with personnel from diverse backgrounds and disciplines, communicate and coordinate work across multiple teams, and deliver results as "one team" with common goals.
* Extensive experience collecting and analyzing data for large systems to support requirements verification and product improvement initiatives
* Strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills to effectively interface with other organizations, all levels of management, professional and support staff, customers, potential customers, and government representatives
* Proposal experience - SOW development, BOE task identification & justification, fact finding, actuals tracking, etc.
* EVMS trained with 3-5 years of CAM experience

Desired Skills:

* Experience in laser, optical, electro-optical, or opto-mechanical systems development and/or test.
* Experience with JIRA, Agile development, and Model Based Systems Engineering
* Working knowledge or experience with National Instruments test software suite (LabVIEW, LabWindows, etc)
* Experience in Specialty Engineering (R&M, manufacturability, EMI, safety, airworthiness, human factors, etc)
