Job Description

Meetings and Events is a growing team, with a mission to build and deploy frictionless meeting and event experiences for our customers across Amazon corporate offices globally. Meetings and Events is looking for a customer-obsessed System Development Engineer to join the team and help us develop the next generation meeting experiences.

Meetings and Events develops the meeting room standards for Amazon's corporate offices. We operate the meeting experience lab where new hardware and software is tested and evaluated. We design systems using a combination of 3rd party hardware (Cisco, Biamp, Crestron, Samsung etc.) and Amazon hardware (Echo) and products (Amazon Chime, Alexa for Business, AWS services). We write code and configurations that allow all of these to deployed and supported at Enterprise scale.

In this role you will:

* Evaluate and test new hardware and software products
* Create new system designs and features to create new meeting and collaboration experiences
* Build scripts to automate and scale system deployment
* Write technical design documentation, and hardware evaluation reviews
