Overview

ITA International (ITA) is a provider of integrated support services to include analysis, planning, training, acquisition management, cyber/intelligence, engineering, logistics, and maritime support services to government, non-governmental organizations and commercial customers worldwide.

ITA is anticipating an upcoming opportunity for an Engineering Tech V ISNS for our San Diego location. This position is contingent upon contract award.

Responsibilities

* Provide technical assistance on ISNS systems aboard U.S. Navy ships under the cognizance of SWRMC.• Will receive daily work assignments from the SWRMC Branch Head.• Providing assistance to the shipboard crews in the operation, inspection, problem identification, troubleshooting and maintenance of the installed computer systems and networks.• Assist the ships to perform maintenance on ISNS.• Conduct operational tests to evaluate for malfunctions, diagnose symptoms and isolate, localize and replace faulty components and parts to restore equipment to optimum operating condition.• Provide assistance to ships' personnel with operating, operational tests, problem identification, troubleshooting and maintenance of all versions of the ISNS systems.

Qualifications

* High School Diploma or GED• US Citizenship• Active Secret Clearance*• Minimum of eight (8) years' related experience• Navy C Schools related to the specific equipment• Knowledge and experience is required for the following:o ISNS Increment 1 USQ-153, all variantso Fast Ethernet/ATM/Gigabyte switcheso ISNS C(v) o ISNS D(v)o Compose, all versionso Working knowledge and experience on the interaction and interfaces between ISNS, CENTRIXS, GCCS-M and SCI networks.o Working knowledge of the ISNS relationship to CANES and the overall function of CANES.o Working knowledge of DoN's afloat software update and patching processes including Information Assurance Vulnerability Alert (IAVA) and Windows Software Update Server (WSUS).o Ability to frequently transit piers, shipboard passageways and ladders.o Ability to transport tools and test gear to and within the job sites (ships).o VEVRAA Federal Contractor
