Description
The Test Manager is responsible for directing and coordinating activities associated with reviewing the quality of software applications and services developed for FAA, and adherence to process guidance.
Job Specific Responsibilities:
* Develops test plans and oversees development of test procedures
* Implements standards of product acceptability
* Coordinates testing to verify adherence to approved test procedures and accurate reporting of test results
* Documents and tracks product deficiencies
* Defines, implements, and administers program deliverable items to be fully compliant with contract requirements
* Provides visibility of test activities to SAIC and FAA senior management, as appropriate
* Collects, analyzes, and evaluates quality and performance measurements to identify negative trends and potential process improvements
* Participates in selected scheduled peer reviews
* Participates in regularly scheduled in-process reviews (IPRs)
Qualifications
CLEARANCE REQUIREMENT:
* Clearance level must currently possess: NONE
* Clearance level must be able to obtain: Active Public Trust L5 Security Clearance
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE
* Possess a Bachelor's Degree or Higher in Computer Science, Information Technology or related field and 14 years of experience of equivalent
minimum of 9 years of experience in Applications and Software Development.
* Experience with product testing and quality control (QC)
* Experience leading a testing team
* Experience with process quality assurance (QA)
* Experience with Agile development
DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE
* Agile or DevOps certification
* Active Public Trust L5 Security Clearance
* Experience with FAA systems
* Scrum Master certification
* Demonstrated experience briefing senior leaders
* Experience with multi-tiered application environments with SQL, Web services, Web API, HTML5, and XML development
* Software development tools, such as Eclipse
* Agile tools, such as Jira and Confluence
* STIG or equivalent cybersecurity assessment
* Continuous integration / continuous deliver (CI/CD) tools, such as Jenkins
* Automated testing tools, such as Selenium
