Job Description

Description:As a member of the Sustainment Operations - Process and Performance Team, the candidate will support cross-platform alignment and sustainment capability enhancements through process and tool development and optimization.

Specific responsibilities include:

The selected candidate will contribute to the development of new processes, concepts, techniques, standards, and develop solutions to complex problems which require the regular use of ingenuity and innovation while ensuring those solutions are consistent with organizational goals and objectives.

Develop and build Enterprise level - Sustainment Operations processes and procedures related to the 12 Integrated Product Support Elements (IPS).

Collaborate with the various Sustainment Line-of-Business (LOB's) and other Business Areas to shape and collectively build Sustainment Operations Processes.

The selected candidate must possess an overall understanding of Sustainment Operations and Lifecycle Logistics and how they interact with the IPS Elements.

In addition, as part of the Sustainment Transformation Portfolio (STP), the selected candidate will support the ongoing 2G Customer Operations Enablement efforts, to include:

* Customer Visibility and Information Access
* Customer Site Process Enablement

Three (3) focus areas or skill sets for this position include:

* Lifecycle Logistics experience and how it interfaces with the enterprise
* LM Aero Sustainment Operations experience
* LM Aero Command Media AeroCode Processes
* Must be a US Citizen. This position is located at a facility that requires special access.

Basic Qualifications:

* - Bachelor's degree required
* Sustainment and Logistics experience
* Technical writing experience
* Experiences developing processes
* Working with cross-functional teams
* Developing and implementing process and technology improvements

Desired Skills:

One or more of the following:

* Determining key capability needs, generating and defining system requirements, and clearly articulating those requirements to stakeholders
* Coordinating, facilitating, and leading meetings
* Supporting diverse cross-functional teams
* LM Aero Sustainment process and procedure familiarity
* Reaching across functional barriers to achieve organization goals and objectives
* Seek and lead opportunities with minimal direction and oversight
* Program and Project Management
* Understanding and developing process models
* Lifecycle Logistics experience
