Overview

This position is on the staff of a government consulting firm located in McLean, VA. Work will be at client location in Fort Belvoir, VA. Army Enterprise Systems Integration Program (AESIP) is seeking a Sustainment Manager to join a high performing program office for the US Army.

Responsibilities

The Sustainment Manager will support PM AESIP facilitating ERP planning, integration, implementation, sustainment and training. The Sustainment Manager will provide overall project management, high level technological support, and oversight of synchronization, development and implementation activities to ensure success at every milestone of specific AESIP Hub releases/ interfaces and Help Desk tickets. Responsible for the overall management of interface releases currently in production/sustainment. Ensure successful communications above, below, and across Sustainment and New Development teams, as well as between external trading partners and all external organizations.

Primary Tasks:

* Chair the Pre-Change Control Board; review, recommend, and coordinate approval of system Change Requests by the Configuration Control Board
* Coordinate system maintenance activities with PM AESIP interface organizations
* Work with AESIP Hub Project Leads to ensure system Sustainment coordination is complete
* Working with the Configuration Management Team to ensure correct execution of organization process and procedures
* Maintain documentation according to applicable PM AESIP guidelines and DoD/Army regulations
* Work with external organizations in order to complete technical interface agreements
* Work with the AESIP Financial Compliance Division to answer questions and Audit requests
* Provide status updates to government supervisor regarding Sustainment of the AESIP Portal and impacts to partner organizations
* Prepare status updates regarding AESIP Hub Enterprise Risks to AESIP leadership
* Review, edit and write AESIP Hub Process and Procedure Documentation
* Assist and champion IT Service Management (ITSM) processes such as Incidents, Problem, Change Management, and Release, both internally and with the AESIP Hub and ERP Enclave Sustainment organizations.
* Maintain documentation on the AESIP SharePoint Page
* Update PowerPoint presentations

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications:

* BA, BS degree in Business Management, Systems Engineering or IT/CS focus
* Must possess and maintain DoD Secret Clearance
* Minimum of 10 years as a staff member or consultant in an ERP program; minimum 5 years supporting Army ERPs
* Strong oral and written communication
* Use of Microsoft Office tools (Word, Excel, SharePoint, Project, Visio)
* Ability to understand requirements and develop written processes and procedures
* 5 years of experience in managing the execution of process and procedures
* 5 year previous experience communicating with large stakeholder groups
* 5 year previous experience facilitating meetings with complex issues
* Customer Service Skills and knowledge and experiencing ITSM tools and functionality such as Service Now, Remedy or elements of SolMan
* Ability to work independently
* Minimal travel; approxinately 10%

Preferred Qualifications:

* MA/MS, PMP, or ITIL certification
* Previous experience working on a Configuration Management team
