NEC Enterprise Communication Technologies, Inc. ("NECECT") is a wholly-owned subsidiary of NEC Corporation. The company develops and supports a wide range of solutions, including Unified Communications, Software-defined networking, Video Analytics and IoT.

We are looking for a qualified intern to join our team for 2019 Summer. NECECT group conducts many project-based activities and we are looking an intern who can participate in various stages of the preparation for NEC Software - Product Development & Engineering by experiencing actual business activities. This intern should be prepared to work in a fast-paced multi-national team environment, and will finish the internship having gained broad experience in various aspects of IT solutions.

Responsibilities

Assist in the development & engineering of NEC software and product through experiencing and interacting NECECT developers, engineers and teams.

Assist with development - engineering projects for the team

Assist with tracking report of business activities.

Assist with their daily business activities.

Assist with office administrative work for team members.

Requirements

Experience building and maintaining applications with technologies such as Angular, Bootstrap, node.js, REST API, jQuery, HTML5

Excellent coding skills in one or more languages: Java, C#, Scala, C++, Python or Ruby

Experience with Microservices architecture, RESTfull API.

Knowledge of containerization technologies (Docker, etc.)

Familiarity with building or supporting AWS, Azure based solutions.

Experience working with automated build systems (Jenkins)

This person should have excellent verbal and written communication skills, Team Work & Self Motivated. Expereince in Application development is required, and will be considered when choosing the best applicant for this internship position.

Please note, that applicants for this position need to be currently enrolled', or recently graduated (within 6 months), and have a degree plan (either their major or minor) that coincides with this position. Applicants to this position also need to be local as we will not be providing relocation.
