JOB DESCRIPTION: SAIC is seeking a Strategic Policy Analyst to provide senior strategic-level organizational support to the Rapid Equipping Force (REF) Director and REF Deputy Director at Fort Belvoir, VA.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

* This position is for a senior planner and advisor for the leadership of the REF.
* The candidate must be able to thoroughly understand the effects of pending DOD and Army policy, position papers, and fiscal planning and articulate a path to strategically position the REF to better serve the US Army within DOD Acquisition.
* This position will make recommendations to the REF leadership on a variety of issues that meet the intent of the Director while keeping with the strategic vision of the REF.
* This position will require the ability to build briefs and position papers for the Director and to brief the leadership of the REF Chain of Command.

Qualifications

REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

* Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university


* 20 years active duty or direct support to US Army and DOD offices.


* Active Secret Security Clearance and ability to obtain a TS/SCI.



DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

* Financial management and budget experience within US DOD.


* Experience at senior command and staff positions within Army and Joint Commands.
* DAWIA level 3 certification
