NTT DATA Services currently seeks a Storage Manager to join our team in Rockville, Maryland (US-MD), United States (US).

Responsibilities

* Manages and mentors team to provide operations, maintenance, and continual improvement of complex high traffic storage and data protection systems and processes.
* Leads the development and maintenance of enterprise storage environments, including enterprise storage arrays, fiber channel switches and Network Attached Storage (NAS) physical and virtual tape devices.
* Develops solutions and processes for reliable and stable data storage management, security, backup, restoration, archiving and replication. Assists with the implementation of new or additional storage technology to improve infrastructure service locally and remotely.
* Analyzes and provides innovative solutions to network engineering and design projects
* Investigates storage area network/network attached storage issues and provides resolution on complex issues following standard incident, change request and problem management processes.
* Coordinates efforts with other teams as necessary to resolve complex availability, performance and capacity issues
* Applies advanced understanding of customer business needs in the operations and improvement of storage and data protection services and processes
* Establishes Storage Team priorities as they relate to NTT DATA Services achievement of short and long-term business goals and objectives
* Work with technical architects and customer executive on Enterprise Storage related activities
* Evaluate individual and team performance and provide opportunities for career development, teamwork and continual service improvement
* Act as an escalation point for all subordinates and continually monitor departmental KPIs and Service level agreements
* Provide periodic and ad-hoc status on storage capacity, performance, issues and projects

Basic Qualifications:

* 9+ years of relevant experience or equivalent combination of education and work experience
* 4+ years of team and/or leadership experience
* 5+ years experience and expert level knowledge of relevant EMC storage technologies, including installation, tuning, operations and troubleshooting
* Advanced knowledge of Storage Area Network management and trouble-shooting
* Knowledge of data protection approaches using NetBackup and EMC/NetApp
* Possesses and routinely applies broad knowledge of storage and storage network related processes and procedures to the completion of complex assignments
* Experience acting as a resource to others in the resolution of highly complex problems
* Advanced knowledge of storage security issues
* EMC Information Storage and Management (EMCISA) certification or equivalent



Preferences & Certification

* Experience in larger enterprise networks preferred
* 3+ years experience with NetApp, Isilon and/or NetBackup in enterprise environments
* Knowledge of AWS and/or Azure Cloud storage solutions
* ITIL V3 Foundation Training and Certification
