The role is for a self-motivated individual with software engineering skills and expertise with building web applications and data processing technologies. The candidate will be extensively involved in hands-on activities including POCs, design, documentation, development and test of new functionality. Candidate must be flexible and willing to switch tasks based on team's needs. The successful candidate will be a Staff Software Engineer in the Risk Product Management area.

Basic Qualifications

* 4 years of work experience with a Bachelor's Degree or at least 2 years of work experience with a Master's degree

Preferred Qualifications

* Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related discipline
* 7-10 Years of experience proven experience in leading, developing and deploying internally build web applications in Java and related technologies
* Proven experience in working with API's and extracting data from SAS applications
* Proven experience in data cleaning and transformation, integration and processing
* Proven experience in building reports and visualizations
* Proven experience in using web development tools, JavaScript, HTML5 applications
* 3 years of experience in Python, D3
* Experience in scripting, file processing, text processing.
* 3 Years of experience in delivering solutions using SQL and NoSQL.
* Experience in building custom portals to aggregate the data from multiple data sources tools
* Experience in writing efficient complex SQL's and tuning them.
* Experience with CI/CD methodologies
* Strong follow-through, problem identification, analysis and problem-solving skills
* Demonstrated ability to learn new Information technologies and apply quickly
* Exceptional communication and customer facing skills, able to interact effectively with diverse groups of global stakeholders, both technical and business users
* Experience in building POC's, evaluating new technologies in application development and analytics space.
* Experience in working with teams across the org is required
* Working in multinational organization is beneficial
* Supporting internal audit organization would be beneficial

Essential Functions

* Responsible for technology project delivery activities such as gathering Business requirements, conceptual approach, design, development, test case preparation, unit/integration test execution, support process documentation
* Develop visualizations, reports and dashboards
* Design data models, data integrations and data transformations
* Partner with IT groups such as CIT, Engineering, Product, Security, and Infrastructure on project delivery activities
* Provide insights from data and present to IT and non-technical users to improve operations and productivity
* Unit test data loads and write scripts for data validation
* Support QA, UAT and performance testing phases of development cycle and implement DevOps principles from development to deployment to production
* Lead and mentor the teams
* Build prototypes and POC of new technologies and functionalities
* Coordinate Continuous Integration activities, testing automation frameworks, and other related items

Work Hours

* Incumbent must make themselves available during core business hours

Travel Requirements

* This positions requires the incumbent to travel for work 10% of the time

Physical Requirements

* This position will be performed in an office setting. The position will require the incumbent to sit and stand at a desk, communicate in person and by telephone, frequently operate standard office equipment, such as telephones and computers, reach with hands and arms, and bend or lift up to 25 pounds.
