Description:This position is part of the Lockheed Martin Missiles and Fire Control and MBDA Deutschland Joint Venture (JV) team to develop the next generation Integrated Air and Missile Defense System, "TLVS," for the German Bundeswehr. The JV is the prime contractor for this new system, which is headquartered in Schrobenhausen, Germany. The company will also have operations in Dallas, Texas, Huntsville, Alabama, and Syracuse, New York, as well as locations in Ulm and Koblenz, Germany.

TLVS is a highly mobile ground based air and missile defense system for protection against the current and future threat spectrum in the lower tier. TLVS is based on the technology and development results of the trinational MEADS air and missile defense system (US, Germany, Italy). The development of this latest generation air defense system was proven by the system demonstration in 2014. TLVS will be employed by Germany in the context of national and collective defense as well as for the protection of deployed troops, facilities and areas against all kinds of aerial threats including the interception of the latest generation of ballistic missiles. The individual components of the system are mounted on protected vehicles, offering high tactical mobility for the protection of mobile land forces.

This position will be an expatriate assignment located in Schrobenhausen, Germany.

Lockheed Martin is seeking a Cyber System Security Engineer for a position in Grand Prairie, Texas. Job Description:

* Design, implement, deploy, and maintain state of the art system security architectures and countermeasures to protect and enable innovative new Lockheed Martin Missiles and Fire Control products.
* Balance security, compliance, performance, power and cost for a diverse portfolio of embedded defense products.
* Analyze vulnerabilities and threats against system security of new product designs.
* Prototype and test countermeasures that defend against cyber-attacks.
* Embed yourself among Hardware, Firmware, Software, and Systems Engineers to define and integrate system security measures into a wide range of high integrity, security and safety-critical products.

Basic Qualifications:

* Must have an active SECRET security clearance.
* Bachelors degree from an accredited college in a related discipline, or equivalent experience/combined education, with 5 years of professional experience; or 3 years of professional experience with a related Masters degree.

Experience with the following:

* Experience using an architecture modelling tool (i.e. Sparx Enterprise Architect, Rhapsody, MagiDraw) to develop and document Use Cases, system behavior, and static structures in accordance with the NATO Architecture Framework (NAF).
* Experience assessing impacts of changes, recognize dependencies on other functions, and elaborate the functionality of an Air and Missile Defense system.
* Experience with integrated air defense systems and Battle Management systems
* Design experience through the DoD systems development life-cycle developing embedded security solutions.
* Maintaining, developing and/or supporting test equipment hardware and/or software.
* Implement system security requirements on Platform Information Technology (PIT) systems to meet company and government compliance systems security requirements.
* System Security Engineering (SSE) principals.
* Identification, decomposition, allocation and verification of NIST SP 800-53 Security Controls.
* Conducting Security Verification testing on developed DoD products.

Desired Skills:

* Familiarity with architecture modeling tools, methodology, and UML/SysML.
* Extensive Experience developing DoD National Security Systems (NSS).
* Demonstrates both tactical as well as strategic thinking and creative problem solving.
* Experience applying DIACAP or RMF to DoD PIT or IS weapons systems.
* Experience evaluating security components against their ability to resist threats in their intended environment.
* Excellent writing skills and ability to communicate effectively.
* Experience evaluating security components.
* Experience with vulnerability scanning and Software Assurance (SwA) activities.
* Experience in implementing system security requirements to meet company and government computer security requirements.
* DoD 8570 approved baseline certification for IAT Level II (IE CompTIA Security+, GSEC SSCP, CCNA-Security).
* DoD 8570 approved baseline certification for IAM Level III (IE CISSP, GSLC (GIAC Security Leadership Certification), (CISM).
* DoD 8570 approved baseline certification for IASAE Level III (IE, CISSP, CISSP-ISSEP (Advanced CISSP Certification), CISSP-ISSAP (Advanced CISSP Certification) , GSLC (GIAC Security Leadership Certification).
