Sr. Web Architect

Job Description

We are looking for Sr. Web Architect to join our team in Redmond, WA. As the Sr. Web Architect, you will have the opportunity to be a member of the Developer Program backend architecture and development team. This position will have responsibilities in the enterprise and application level design of the Developer Program web portal. Candidate must have the ability to work in a very fast paced and often ambiguous environment with a small group of developers. Ability to react to changes in schedule, scope and urgent requests is a must. Ideal candidate will possess experience working in both a linear and iterative development environment and will be very familiar with the entire SDLC process.

Your responsibilities will include but are not limited to the following:

* Lead enterprise architect SME for the Developer program.
* Thorough knowledge and understanding of web and network based architectures.
* Thorough knowledge of java based client-server architectures
* Thorough knowledge of Service Oriented Architecture design and development.
* Demonstrated ability to work in an Agile development methodology.
* Design of interfaces with various third party and internal sources.
* Demonstrated ability to create technical documentation which supports Environment and architecture activities.
* Java server page development, testing and deployment.
* Ability to generate architecture which implements use of a content management system, with preference given for ATG content administration server.
* Ability to work closely with customers to understand and their requirements

Requirements:

* 8 years or relevant experience in design and architecture of web-based client-server applications.
* 6 years or relevant experience with WebLogic.
* 4 years or relevant experience ATG in a java environment, especially with ATG content administration server.

o Working with database systems, preferably Oracle.

o Ability to work in both Unix and Windows environment.

* University degree or equivalent
* Exceptional communication skills
* Desired skills to include:

o SAML .

o Search integration.

* Excellent communication, both verbally and in writing are required for this position.
