JOB DESCRIPTION:

Summary:

Independently manages and consults in multiple complex system-level projects and design changes to support expanded investigations. Resolves product problems and technical issues. Proactively identifies opportunities for significant operational,process or system level product improvements.

Main Responsibilities:

* Maintains adherence to Quality System - Implements and maintains the effectiveness of the quality system. 2.
* Design Control - Writes,executes and provides technical review of moderately complex system related verification and or characterization protocols and data packages.
* Applies moderately complex quantitative methods,analyzes data,evaluates results,forms conclusions and provides and implements improvements.
* Defines and documents critical performance requirements that link to sub-system design requirements across interacting functions. 3.
* Risk Mitigation - Evaluates technical risks and identifies alternatives,makes recommendations and takes appropriate action. 4.
* Technical Investigation Support - Reviews and develops FMEA,hazards,modes of control for Risk Management.
* Leads moderately complex investigations involving interacting system level issues. 5.
* Collaborates across functional areas - Presents,delivers and interprets information amongst product team members,scientists,engineers,and other systems development personnel across sites.
* Works well with CFT members in a collaborative,goal-driven environment. 6.
* Technical Leadership and Mentoring - Reviews project progress and evaluate results against project and design plans and timelines.
* Recommends resource estimates and impact of project scope changes.
* Provides input into developing departmental and site processes and procedures.
* Provides system integration leadership and mentoring.
* Participates in hiring decisions for system integration resources and provides input to System Integration Managers.
* Expense monitoring and may provide project budget planning and management oversight.

Qualifications:

Advanced degree in Life or Physical Science,Bioengineering,Biomedical Engineering or closely related discipline is preferred. 4-6 years' work related experience with degree or sufficient transferable experience to demonstrate functional equivalence to a degree. Moderate knowledge of external regulations and standards affecting IVDs and Biologics. Good Lab Practice, Good Manufacturing Practice, laboratory duties, PC Skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), Data representation.

7-10 years of experience
