The Sr. SE provides support to the Lead Systems Engineer to achieve objectives in accordance with the system life cycle activities. The SE must be capable of independent work requiring application and knowledge of systems engineering and be capable of performing the following:

Primary Responsibilities

* Contribute to the development, maintenance, and execution of a Configuration Management plan
* Create the initial software Configuration Management environment, process, and standards
* Develop processes for tracking Configuration Items, including customer provided items, and work with the program team to track all Configuration Items
* Use SharePoint tools for managing changes for non-software deliverables and technical drawings
* Use both Git and Subversion for software release management
* Authorize the release of software change-sets, processes, drawings, and software configuration changes specified by management and other functional groups
* Track all problems and changes in work products and report changes and current configuration
* Prepare, maintain, and inventory hardware, software, and associated technical drawings for assigned projects
* Provide monthly configuration and document metric reporting for management review
* Facilitate Engineering Review Board and Configuration Control Board meetings
* Record and maintain assessment and audit findings, minutes, and action items
* Perform Configuration Status Accounting
* Maintain status accounting records to ensure that current and historical configurations of products can be accurately determined throughout the product life cycle

Basic Qualifications

* Active Secret clearance
* Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution in an Engineering Discipline with a minimum of 4 years of engineering experience with at least two of these years in a systems engineering role
* Proficient with MS Office products
* Strong written skills and an attention to detail
* Expert interpersonal skills when working as part of a team and capable of working independently when required

Demonstrated experience with:

* Process improvement/standards and procedures
* Logistics
* Data management
* Quality assurance testing
* Computer operations
