Job Summary

The Senior Security Engineer (IAM Developer) is a Java developer dedicated to supporting the Identity and Access Management program. This individual is responsible for developing, deploying, and maintaining code, scripts, and scheduled tasks on the Identity and Access Management platform (SailPoint) to control the identity lifecycle of Hilltop's information systems users. The Senior Security Engineer (IAM Developer) designs and builds new solutions and identifies improvements to existing implementations.

Essential Functions

* Serves as a primary resource to develop and support the Identity and Access Management platform.
* Consumes technical requirements and produces Java code and system configuration to meet requirements.
* Produces solution design documentation, e.g., architecture diagrams and dataflow documentation.
* Collaborates with stakeholders to ensure successful solution delivery.
* Produces thorough and accurate run books and other system documentation.
* Contributes to technology standards as they relate to solution development and management.
* Supports existing implementations, to include reverse-engineering code, identifying issues, and implementing appropriate remediation.
* Leads / supports after-hours change management / maintenance windows as appropriate for code deployments, performance tuning, upgrades, etc.
* Provides team support as needed for non-SME systems.
* Mentors less experienced engineers.
* Other functions as needed.

Job Requirements

* Five (5) or more years of progressive Information Technology experience required.
* Bachelors' or Master's degree in relevant discipline(s), or equivalent education/experience in Information Technology or Information Security fields.
* Proven hands-on Software Development experience.
* Proven working experience in Java development.
* Strong analytical abilities with the ability to develop relevant projects to mitigate security risks to the enterprise.
* Strong orientation toward problem solving and decision-making in an open and collaborative environment.
* Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
* Must be able to drive project deliverables.
* Must be self-motivated with strong initiative, high level of accountability, and attention to detail.
* Experience with SailPoint IIQ a plus.
