ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS*

This position provides engineering and administration of enterprise network, storage, server, firewall and virtualization infrastructures. Candidate must possess strong familiarity with several of the following disciplines: Red Hat Enterprise Linux 6 and 7, Windows Servers, VMWare 6.x, EMC Storage, A10 load balancers, Checkpoint firewalls, Backup software. Daily responsibilities include configuration, automation, performance tuning, security hardening, backups, patch and upgrade management of Microsoft products, RedHat Linux, VMware ESX, Cisco networking devices, and EMC storage products.

OTHER DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Other responsibilities include configuration, automation, performance tuning, security

hardening, backups, patch and upgrade management of Microsoft Windows, Red Hat LinuxServers, Cisco networking devices, A10 load balancers,Veritas Netbackup, EMC Storage, and VMWare Virtualization. AWS experience is a plus.

Skills/Requirements QUALIFICATIONS

* Thorough understanding of the infrastructure listed above
* Minimum of 5 years experience working in a corporate enterprise environment with

direct responsibility for Windows and Linux servers and\or virtualization

* Strong troubleshooting and organizational skills
* Ability to work independently, research and complete complex tasks and projects
* Prior additional experience with two of the following is desirable

o A10 load balancers

o RedHat Linux

o VMware

o Windows\AD

o Cisco Networking, including OSPF and BGP routing

o Cisco ASA Firewalls

o Checkpoint Firewalls

o Netbackup

* Four Year degree (preferably BS in Computer Science or Engineering) or equivalent
