JPS Health Network is a $950 million, tax-supported health care system for Tarrant County in North Texas. Licensed for 578 beds, the network includes an acute care hospital and more than 40 community-based clinics, including 19 school-based clinics. Job Description:

Description: The Senior System Security Administrator is responsible for making things more secure by protecting system boundaries, keeping computer systems and network devices hardened against attacks and securing highly sensitive data. This position is also responsible for the design, development, documentation, implementation, training, and support of systems in response to the organization's information system's needs.

Typical Duties:

* Identifies and defines system security requirements.
* Develops and implements new security systems, security programs, protocols and maintenance of existing systems.
* Supervises the installation of new software and hardware.
* Investigates intrusion and hacking incidents, collecting incident responses, and carrying out forensic investigations.
* Designs computer security architecture and develop detailed cyber security designs. Ability to configure and troubleshoot security infrastructure devices.
* Develops technical solutions and new security tools to help mitigate security vulnerabilities and automate repeatable tasks.
* Writes comprehensive reports including assessment-based findings, outcomes and propositions for future system security enhancements.
* Documents in detail all information regarding incidents and requests in our call-tracking system. Participates in 24x7 global support team as needed. On-call rotation to be expected.
* Shows dependability through regular attendance, meeting commitments, self-motivating, working independently or in a team environment, and being able to stay focused under pressure.
* Stays current with new technology.
* Adheres to daily and monthly metrics as defined by the department. (Ex: initial response, support turnaround time, customer service survey, etc.).
* Performs other job related duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

Required Education and Experience:
* High School Diploma, GED or equivalent.
* 5 years experience in building and maintaining security systems.
* 5 years hands on experience in security systems, including firewalls, intrusion detection systems, anti-virus software, authentication systems, log management, content filtering, etc.
* 5 years experience with network security and networking technologies and with system, security, and network monitoring tools.
* 5 years experience as a system security engineer or information security engineer.
* Familiarity with web related technologies (Web applications, Web Services, Service Oriented Architectures) and of network/web related protocols.
Preferred Education and Experience:
* Bachelor's Degree from an accredited University or equivalent experience.
* Experience with data communication protocols (i.e. TCP/IP).
* Experience with troubleshooting unusual system behavior.
* Experience translating and documenting complex clinical and business workflows.
Required Licensure/Certification/Specialized Training:
* CISSP (Certified Information Systems Security Professional)
Preferred Licensure/Certification/Specialized Training:
* CCNP Security (Cisco Certified Network Professional Security)
* CEH (Certified Ethical Hacker)
* GIAC Security Certifications
