Job Description

Description:- Skilled, motivated software engineer needed to work in the Anti-Submarine Warfare (ASW) community, developing submarine weapons and SONAR systems.

* Performs software systems development and integration on large systems of systems (SoS) program.

Basic Qualifications:

* Demonstrated experience performing software systems integration activities with Naval Systems
* Demonstrated ability in software development and software integration activities on medium to large scale programs.
* Demonstrated experience coordinating Integration and Test Activities among multiple organizations
* Familiarity with SONAR Systems Operations
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Desired Skills:

* Degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, with strong software skills.
* Experience developing for SONAR and/or weapons, especially in a submarine environment
* Possess an understanding and ability to apply software engineering principles, theories, and concepts
* Experience with system integration, testing, and anomaly resolution
* The ability to work in a collaborative and dynamic team environment with aggressive program schedules
* Familiarity with the Linux Operating System and skills to enable troubleshooting of network configuration and process performance
* Strong desire for troubleshooting tough problems, with skills in following areas:
* - Agile Experience
* - Virtualization and Containerization Technologies
* - Continuous Integration
* - Software Development Lifecycles
* - Acoustic Processing
* - SONAR, ASW Domain Knowledge
* - Scripting skills
* - Redmine or JIRA experience
