Position Summary: As a DevOps engineer you will be responsible for managing and maintaining the business' cloud and on prem infrastructure using tools such as Terraform, Ansible, Consul and Vault. You will be building CI/CD pipelines for Infrastructure as Code deployments, automating server builds and application installs with configuration management systems and related tools as well as assisting with the day to day server management tasks in the Linux server estate.

Position Responsibilities may include, but not limited to:

* Use the tools defined by the business to manage Martin Brower's hybrid cloud environment, as well as suggest new tools to fit business needs.
* Help to enable a DevOps culture which encompasses infrastructure architecture, automation, configuration management, 24/7 monitoring, security and internal documentation.
* Develop CI/CD pipelines to improve the business capability to deliver automation and deployment management.
* Work with new technologies to improve monitoring of applications and infrastructure.
* Work with the other IT functions within the organization to improve automation of repeated tasks and enhance IT delivery.
* Work with multiple enterprise Infrastructure & Application projects and provides IT consulting services to Area of the World (AOW) Directors.
* Coordinate with the Application Governance committee the seamless operationalizing of projects and/or releases.
* Follow established project management guidelines and processes to develop, deliver, maintain, and track project plans, conduct project meetings and report project status.
* Contribute to and participate in change management process to effectively manage change when implementing process, technology or organizational changes. Ensure appropriate planning and that resolutions are implemented if they impact Martin Brower.
* Monitor the service health and security posture of the organization's hybrid cloud platform and act accordingly to events and threats.
* Escalate and/ or manage crisis issues and manage problem management processes specific to Martin Brower. Participate in the Problem Management process and post-mortem, as required.
* Act as one of the crisis point people for communication between MB IT and Shared Services.
* Travel to support BU initiatives as necessary.
* Provide off-hours support on a rotating basis as necessary.
* Adhere to and uphold all company and department policies and procedures.
* Support infrastructure in our fast paced environment with multiple distribution centers and 24/7 operations, including on call rotation.
* Any other duties as assigned.

Required Skills and Experience:

* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, related field.
* 5-7 years of relevant experience (e.g., infrastructure as code, CI/CD, centralized configuration management and automated testing).
* Significant experience with most of the following or similar DevOps technologies: Jenkins, Terraform, Ansible, Jira/Confluence, Git(Hub), Selenium, Swagger, OpenAPI, ElasticSearch
* Extensive experience in implementing CI/CD pipelines and building/managing a highly available Jenkins environment to support production processes.
* Experience in configuring and managing pipelines to support API development in different frameworks such as Swagger or OpenAPI is a plus
* Experience in setting up automated testing pipelines using tools such as Selenium is a plus.
* Experience in configuring and managing an ElasticSearch, or similar, environment to support better application and environment monitoring is a plus
* Effective communication and negotiation skills at all levels with the ability to succinctly communicate relevant information to both technical and non-technical audiences.
* Solid understanding of ITIL disciplines, distributed systems infrastructure components, source control methodologies (Git) and application architecture.
* This position must pass a post-offer background and drug test.
