Accuity is growing! We are a market leading online brand growing our customer base and seeking a Software Developer to join our Evanston based development center. You'll be working in a cross-functional team, working alongside colleagues from a variety of technical and commercial functions. We are an agile like company that focuses on leveraging technology and business data. This position is focused on developing Accuity Risk Data and Compliance Link enterprise products.

We are a technology driven business and the technical landscape here is both advanced and constantly changing as we explore new and more efficient/effective ways of creating our products; we also work with a number of industry leading technology partners who keep us on top of our game.

Skills & Requirements:

The Senior Software Developer will need to have the ability to work across different technologies and interface with multiple teams. Communicating well is an important skill along with the ability to research and problem solve. Qualifications:

* 5+ years of related experience, including prior experience as a programmer in a commercial Software Development Environment.
* Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or Related Major
* Familiarity with secure coding standards (Secure-SDLC process)
* Development of Web-based enterprise applications from specifications

Base Line of Skills:

* Web UI Experience (Spring MVC, Javascript, JSP, JQuery, Angular)
* Java/J2EE
* Spring/Hibernate (ORM) and SQL
* Web Services (REST and SOAP)
* NoSQL Database (Redis, MongoDB etc.) experience is preferred
* Knowledge in OAuth 2, Security API including authentication, authorization experience is a plus
* Knowledge of QWASP Top 10 or CWE Top 25 concepts preferred
* Version Control (SVN and/or GIT)
* Eclipse
* Java build experience - Maven, ANT
