Job Description

We're looking for a full stack developer who will take a key role on our web team that manages putnam.com and our corporate intranet. This role contributes significantly to our external web platform by developing new features, improving current features, and shaping long-term application strategy including web analytics and cloud migration. You will be working closely with other engineers, product team members and infrastructure team members in a fast-paced agile environment. You also will be guiding L1 and L2 support team members in resolving day to day production issues.

Required Experience/Skills: Requires a bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a directly related field plus four (4) years of full stack web application development experience

Must have at least 3 years of experience in each of the following (experience may be gained concurrently):

* Experience as a full stack developer maintaining and enhancing large scale applications using tools:
* Front End: HTML5, Ajax, jQuery, Bootstrap and CSS
* JavaScript Frameworks: Angular JS, React, Ember.js, Backbone (expert in at least one)
* Backend: Java 8 (and higher), Spring Boot, Docker
* Database: Oracle, PostgreSQL or similar
* Cloud Platforms: AWS
* Web Analytics: Google Tag Manager
* Experience in multiple operating systems - Windows, Unix, and Linux
* Experience working with graphic designers and converting designs to visual elements
* Experience in SharePoint Application development preferred
* Experience in working with web services (traditional SOAP services and REST)
* Experience in Agile methodologies
* Experience in working with Git
* Experience in build and testing tools (Maven, Junit, Cucumber, Selenium, etc.,)
* Experience in Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment using Jenkins or similar tools
* Proven experience working in large scale systems
* Experience in application security concepts and applications OAuth 2.0, SSO, and SAML
* Experience in Web Application Security and related tools like Fortify
